Last Post

Since I love putting photographs on my blog, I have exceeded the "free" storage and google wants me to pay to continue. So I started a new blog... http://fishingandlife.blogspot.com/. It will be a continuation of this blog. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

What type of fish is this?

27.5''

The first time my brother sent me a picture of this fish, I couldn't figure out what it was but it is clearly a trophy Brown Trout. His biggest to date. He was the only one out on the river in terrible weather. Maybe not as bad as the weather I was dealing with on the Skeena, but pretty close.

Brown Trout

I believe I caught this fish last year as well. It grew about two inches

LASER DUB!!

I just arrived in Anchorage last night, and am about to embark on my first big fishing trip. a few days in AK, a week in Northern BC, and making out way back to CO in the third week. Unfortunately I don't think I'll find many Brown  trout on this trip

Streamer Mash-up: Sex Dungeon vs. Sculpzilla

This is a stream where you catch 9" Browns and 11" Rainbows...where did he come from?

Usually the natural progression of becoming a decent fly-tier is realizing step tying can save time. Well I never step tie, but to document it, I tried it last night.

Yes the olive gills look terrible on the black version

June

This first group of images was taken by my buddy Nicky. He is a talented photographer and a great angler in the making.

Nicky was chasing this fish for three days straight and finally got the beast to the net. Straight Colorado Chrome

Another shout-out to my buddy Jody, with this possible Brown of a Lifetime. The pics on the previous post were better, but the Brownie is smiling in this one.

Same fish as Nicky? I'm not sure, but it was a beast. 24''
